We offer a flexible fee structure that takes into account different income levels worldwide as well as personal circumstances.
The fee includes all facilitation and guiding for the 11 days, comfortable accommodation and simple vegetarian food for the time prior to and after the fast. It also includes a donation to the Bursary fund supporting the retreats the owners of the solo time land offer.
In the interest of the sustainability of us offering this work as well as our commitment to ensuring that this work is open to those less able to afford the full fee, we are able to offer one reduced fee place on this Vision Quest.
On acceptance of your application, we require a non-refundable deposit to secure your place of R4000 or £175 or $235.
We ask that if you are employed that you pay the full fee.
Availability is limited to a maximum of 8 participants.
The cost of getting to and from Jacobsbaai is not included – ie flights to Cape Town and 2 hours drive to Jacobsbaai. However, once we have an idea of where questers are coming from we are happy to assist in arranging transfers to and from Cape Town International Airport which will be an additional cost.
We travel as a group from the Jacobsbaai to the solo venue in the Cederberg and that may include travel in participant's cars. The cost of fuel for this will be shared between all.
One possible meal at a local restaurant will be for participants added expense.
Your own personal kit which will include (amongst other things); a sleeping bag, sleeping mat, day pack and a back pack to carry your kit to your mountain home for the solo (we provide a full kit list once your application has been accepted) .
Yes, we feel strongly that if you are called to Vision Quest that we will support you in that. We are willing to negotiate payment plans if this is necessary for you. Please ask.
